1 Day Bergama Tour
DEPARTURE EVERY MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS (as of 20/06/2006)
PROGRAMM
Gather at 7:50 in the morning at the International departures at the port. Once we pass through passport control at customs we board the ferry and depart for Ayvalik. Arrival at Ayvalik Port after 1 hour and 30 minutes and after customs control board the tour bus and depart for Bergama. When we reach Bergama we will pass by the Red Basilica and then visit the ruins of Acropolis high above the plain at 1000 feet above the city of Bergama with it's extraordinary view in nearly all directions. At Acropolis we will see the ruins of a library, sanctuary Athena, as well as an impressive theatre of 80 rows, allowing seating of nearly 10,000 people. One can understand how Pergamon dominated the entire region and cast its shadow over the realm. This great Hellenistic city was a great centre of culture. Pergamon which is one of the seven churches mentioned in the Bible, was the rival of Ephesus in the field of commerce and of Alexandria and Antioch in that of letters and the arts.
We later on go to visit the Asclepion, the sanctuary that was dedicated to the God of Medicine and which was the first complete health spa in history, famous for it's psychological treatments. At the end of our tour we will sit at a central tavern in Bergama were we can enjoy our Lunch and there after have some free time to wonder around at the Bazaar in Bergama (Mondays). We will then return back to Ayvalik were we will have some time for the Bazaar before our departure at 18:00 hours. We arrive back to Mytilene at 19:30.

3 Day Tour
IZMIR - KUSADASI - EPHESUS - BERGAMA
DEPARTURES EVERY FRIDAYS(as of 01/07/2006)
PROGRAMM
Day 1. Depart from Mytilene at 08:30 hours and arrive in Ayvalik at 10:00 hours. Upon arrival, pass through customs and board the bus for Izmir and onto Kusadasi. We will arrive in Izmir around noon and will visit some of the few old Greek houses that still stand (some in very good condition). We will also be able to visit the castle of Alexander the Great, Ancient Agora, Archaeological Museum, The Clock Tower, Karsiyaka, and Kemeralti Bazaar. There after we will leave for Kusadasi and arrive in the late afternoon and check into our rooms. Afternoon free at own disposal.
Day 2. After everyone takes their breakfast we depart from Kusadasi for ancient Ephesus tour. In Ephesus we will see the Odeion, Temple of Goddess Rome, Prytenaion, Pollio Fountain, Temple of Domitian, Heracles Gate, Curetes Street, Trajan Fountain, Temple of Hadrian, Latriana, Houses on the Slope and Celcus Library. At the end of our tour we will then go for lunch at local tavern and there after visit a leather department store near Ephesus. At the end of our tour we will return back to Kusadasi to our hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3. After our breakfast, we will depart for Bergama. In Bergama we will tour the Acropolis and Asclepion. Have lunch at local tavern and then take off for Ayvalik were we will pass by the tourist area of Sarimsakli. We will have some time free at our desposal in Ayvalik before we take the ferry back to Mytilene at 18:00 hours. Arrive into Mytilene at 19:30.

2 Day Trip
SHOPPING THERAPY IN IZMIR
DEPARTURES EVERY FRIDAYS & SUNDAYS (as of 28/07/2006)
PROGRAMM
Day 1. Depart from Mytilene at 08:30 hours and arrive in Ayvalik at 10:00 hours. Upon arrival, pass through customs and board the bus for Izmir, check into our hotel and then depart again for Leather department in Ephesus. On the way we will stop and have lunch and then once we get there we will be able to see a fashon show before we are then free to look around and buy what ever you want. Return back to hotel, some rest and then dinner at the hotel. An outing will be organised by the guide to an oriental show in the evening (optional).
Day 2. After everyone takes their breakfast we depart for Ayvalik were we will pass by a gift shop with some Onyx sculptures near Bergama. Arrive in Ayvalik and have some time free at our desposal before we take the ferry back to Mytilene at 18:00 hours. Arrive into Mytilene at 19:30.
